Dear Jeevan, to be qualified in NEET, if you belong to General Category, you should score a minimum of 50 percentile of the top NEET score. It is 50 percentile for General Category and 40 percentile for OBC,SC,ST. This is the cut off formula. But the marks do change every year as they are dependant on various factors like no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. In 2019, the general cut offs increased by 15 marks. And they looked like this:

General Category: 134-701

OBC,SC,ST: 107-133

OBC-PH, SC-PH, ST-PH: 107-119

Begin a career in Medical and Allied Sciences. Admissions Open for

Apply to JSS University Mysore 2025

UR-PH: 120-133

So the cut offs this year may go higher by 20 marks. However this is just an assumption.

Hello,
.
You are just talking about medical seat but you haven't cleared that what are you will to choose, which stream are you interested in.
.
Let me help you out with few medical courses and the rank you should get,
.
BAMS need 350 as minimum score for private colleges and 450 if going to government.
.
If you are going for BDS, 450 or above you should get if you want a government college and 400 is minimum for private ones.
.
If you are going for MBBS,you should minimum score 550 to 600 above to get a seat in best colleges.
If you just want a seat and not bothering of college score at least 500 or above
.
If you are choosing some other course except mentioned above, then try to score at least 470 or above to get admission in good colleges.
.
Best of luck
