There are about 65,000 total seats including private colleges.But if we talk only about government seats it's approx 25,000.

There are approximately 63,800 medical seats allotted to All India Quota through NEET. Out of which 30,455 seats are from government colleges. The no. of seats vary from state to state with Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka having the most number of government medical college seats.
