Total no. of Colleges- 348

Private colleges - 188 ; No of seats - 60055

State run colleges - 160; No of seats - 30985

Category wise distribution :

15% All India Quota Seats : 85% state seats

Under the 15% All India Quota seats,

15% seats are reserved for SC candidates.

7.5% All India Quota seats are reserved for ST

27% for OBC ( non-creamy layer) candidates.

5% seat reservation is alloted for differently abled/ Physically handicapped (PH-1 and PH-2 Category) candidates.
