Hello,


You can apply for MBBS through NEET which is the national level entrance exam for MBBS course. AIIMS and JIPMER conduct their own entrance test regarding this.


To be eligible for NEET,candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board, having Biology as additional subject too counts here.


The qualifying marks are separate for each category and the marks to be considered are aggregate marks only for PCB subjects


  • UR - 50%,
  • OBC/SC/ST - 40%,
  • PWD - 45%


To be eligible for JIPMER MBBS,candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board.


The qualifying marks are separate for each category and the marks to be considered are aggregate marks only for PCB subjects


UR - 50%,

OBC/SC/ST/OPH - 45%,

UR-PH- 45%


To be eligible for AIIMS MBBS candidate should have passed 10+2 standard or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as the main subjects, the minimum qualifying percentage that differs among category mentioned below-


  • UR) and OBC - 60%
  • Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 50%
  • PWBD from any category - 45%
