How many seats allowed through ICAR Entrance Exam for B.Sc Agricultural course

ICAR All India Entrance Examination Admission Undergraduate (ICAR-AIEEA UG) is the national level examination conducted by Indian Council for Agricultural Research every year to give admission to students in various undergraduate programmes of Agriculture and allied sciences. It reserves 15% of the total seats of the Agricultural Universities which include 64 state AUs and 4 Central Universities. Apart from this 100% of the seats at NDRI, RLB CAU Jhansi and Dr. RP CAU Pusa are also reserved.

The total no of seats for B.Sc Agriculture is 826 in India. Out of which 15% seats are reserved for Scheduled Castes (SC), 7.5% seats for Scheduled Tribes (ST), 3% seats for Physically challenged (PC) and 2% seats for Underprivileged States/UTs (UPS). The students took admission through this examination are also awarded with National Talent Scholarships.
