In Gokhale Institute, Pune, the total no. of seats for M. Sc. Economics is 40. Out of these 40 seats, 50.5% seats are reserved for open category, 15% seats are reserved for SC candidates, 7.5% seats are reserved for ST candidates and 27% seats are reserved for OBC candidates.

In addition to this, there are few more seats which are allotted to the candidates belonging to different groups as mentioned below:

• 5% additional seats for domiciled residents of the State of Jammu and Kashmir
• 1 seat for physically handicapped candidates
