Here in question you haven't mentioned whether you need information for undergraduate or postgraduate level . So I am giving information about seats of both undergraduate and postgraduate courses . In presidency there are 44 undergraduate seats of chemistry , 42 undergraduate seats of physics and 42 undergraduate seats of chemistry . For postgraduate courses there are 32 seats in physics and chemistry each and 22 setas in mathematics . These are details of total seats . Presidency university is one of the oldest and best universities of Westbengal and India , so definitely all the departments are fantastic here . It is very tough to differentiate between these good departments . In presidency university for undergraduate courses admission is done through PUBDET and for postgraduation courses admission is done through PUMDET both are conducted by WBJEE .
