Dear Miral, following is the reservation policy for Symbiosis Institute of Management:

Defence Category- General: 80% seats for Children/Ward (dependents) of Defence personnel. (on the basis of merit)

Defence category- Special: 10% seats are reserved for dependents of Defence personnel killed in action (war, war like operation or Counter Insurgency), with more than 50% disability, disabled in action (war, Counter Insurgency or war like operation), next of kin of service personnel who have died while in service, death being attributable to military service. (as per merit)

Open Category: 10% seats are reserved for civilian candidates recommended/ sponsored by the Industry (on the basis of merit).
