There were more than 15000 applicants for admission in Bachelor's of commerce course in Banaras Hindu University.

The exact figure is hard to tell but around 5.25 lakh candidates haveappliedfor 12,500 undergraduate and postgraduate seats inBHU in 2020 and for DUET examination, around 1.5 lakhs candidate apply evey year.
