How many students are appearing this year for clat .....and what is the cut off for general category?????

Hi.

If you look at the past year tends, each year there is a rise between 3 - 5 thousand aspirants. So, you can expect 50000 - 52000 aspirants appearing for CLAT 2019.Having said that, you don't need to worry about number of aspirants. All you need is 1 seat out of the available 2200 (approx). If you calculate the probability: number of aspirants and number of seats, it is arguably the easiest exam to crack (if you prepare wisely).
Coming to your 2nd question
CLAT cutoff will be determined on the basis of various factors including the number of test takers, the difficulty level of the paper, number of qualified candidates, previous year cut off trends etc
