Anyone who has a valid rank in JEE Mains is eligible to get admission in NITs provided he/she fullfill other eligibility criteria . There is no minimum Percentile required to apply for NIT cutoff. The certain number of students are qualified for writting JEE Advanced but anyone who has valid rank in JEE can apply for JOSAA Councelling. In order to get admission into NIT, student should fullfill other eligibility criteria like he/she should obtain certain minimum percentage in Class XII, however this eligibility criteria is waived for this year Only. The Seat allotment for NIT is done on the basis of of JEE rank, Home state of student, Category of student etc.
