There has been an increase in the number of students registering for engineering entrance exam despite an overall fall in the number of registrations in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) April 2019.

A total of 9,29,198 students registered for the JEE Main in January against 9,35,741 appearing for the same in April session

Jee mains this time being a large scale exam this time no of students appearing were less as compared to previous years.  This time no of candidates to appear in jee mains january were total of 9.29 lakhs. And the exam conducted in april had a certain amount of increase so in april total no of students were 9.35 lakhs.
