Hello Aspirants,
See attempts for JEE-Main and JEE-Advance are decided irrespective of any category so whether you belongs to any General category or any other category , the number of attempts will be same. For JEE-Main candidate can appear for consecutive three years after passing class 12th and for JEE-Advance candidate is allowed to appear for maximum of two attempts in two consecutive years.
Let us take an example to get it clearly, suppose you have passed you class 12th in 2020 so now you will have three consecutive years for JEE-Main that are 2020, 2021 and 2022. Similarly, for JEE-Advance it is of two years means you can appear in 2020 and 2021 only.
