They both appear to be the same degrees but are actually different degrees sharing some common subjects.

The biggest similarity is that both degrees focus on healthcare. As a result, they generally have a number of core courses in common. However, the rest of the curriculum is very different. If you have to complete a masters degree in healthcare related field, therefore, you need to understand the specific difference between the two programs.

Choosing between the two degree programs depends on you as an individual, where your interests lies and what direction you want your carrer to take.

When it comes to making a decision between an MPH and an MHA, only you can decide it.

Hi pankaj,

MPH and MPA are almost similar degree. To be general they deal with healthcare. Both take 2 years to complete and also have some similar subjects. To be specific MPH deals with training people with public healthcare and MPA deals with people getting employed in large medical organization.
