If you want to study in top colleges like Banaras Hindu University, CCS University of agriculture or GB Pant then you will have to give ICAR Entrance exam.

There are various colleges out there providing admission just on the basis of 12th marks but for top colleges which i have listed above you need to attend their Entrance.

Last year the cutoff for BHU was around 510, for CCS it was 480 and for GB pant it was 460.

BSc Agriculture is a 4 year undergraduate course. It deals with research and practices in agricultural science, Agricultural Microbiology, Soil Science, Plant Pathology, etc. It i s a professional degree  recognized course in the field of agricultural science. It should be noted that if you want a top college you have should get admission in IACR approved colleges.

Basic Eligibility criteria for this course is 10+2 in science stream with 50% marks.  There are direct admissions and entrance exams as well. You can take admissions by both. It will depends on college to college.
