According to an official notification, in order to qualify for admissions in MBBS and BDS seats in government, private and deemed medical colleges/universities in India, a candidate belonging to unreserved category have to score a minimum of 50th percentile in NEET 2017, whereas, candidates belonging to Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribes/ Other Backward Classes, the minimum percentile to obtain is 40th.
