The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (shortened as AHSEC) is a regional education board under the Ministry of Education, Government of Assam that is accountable to govern, oversee and expand the system of Higher Secondary Education (10+2 level) in the Assam. It gives 25% of the total score as grace marks to mentally impaired and hearing impaired aspirants. This grace mark will be provided to aspirants who are passing the exam without any assistance. These aspirants will be granted grace marks. An aspirant who has achieved a top score in a subject will not be provided grace marks. This Mark will be transferred to a different subject.
