Hi Avantika,

Hope you are doing well! The subjects which is necessary to be cleared with 50 % marks in order to be eligible for NEET are Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English. Mathematics marks are used to determine eligibility for JEE exam.

Mathematics marks are not necessary for NEET eligibility. According to NEET eligibility criteria students must quality 12th board examination with minimum 50% for general category and 40% for SC/ST/OBC categories.Physics, chemistry, biology and English are the important subjects considered for checking eligibility for NEET.

Dear Aspirant,

Mathematics marks are not used in calculating the eligibility for the neet exam. The eligibility for NEET is 50% minimum marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. For example in CBSE board, this will be 150/300 marks, 50 in each subject, (out of 100).
