Hello,

If your query is regarding JEE main then to be eligible to get admission in IITs/NITs/GFTIs a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.Candidates belonging to general category must have passed with atleast 75% aggregate for SC/ST it is 65% aggregate from a recognized board or university.And the admission in IIT is based on merit in JEE Advanced and the minimum cut off marks to qualify in JEE Advanced changes every year.In 2019 the cut off was follows for each category

  • General: 35 marks (overall) 10 marks (each individual subject)
  • EWS: 31.5(overall) 9 marks (each individual subject)
  • OBC-NCL:  31.5 marks (overall) 9 marks (each individual subject)
  • SC/ST (including PwD from all categories : 17.5 marks (overall) 5 marks (each individual subject)

However, cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease slightly.
