A hospital administrator/ manager's responsibility, in both small and large patient care facilities, is to efficiently oversee overall administration. To work in  hospital administration you must have a bachelor's degree in an area such as accounting, finance, or economics. Although a BCom or BSc Economics degree is required, an MBA or Master of Finance degree is desirable.
