The NEET Examination is based on Percentile, that means how many people have scored better than you. So the cut off to appear for the All India Quota (AIQ) NEET Counseling 2018, you must have secured the 50th percentile, if in General quota or 40%, if you belong to the reserved category.

In 2017, the qualifying score for Unreserved Category was 131 i.e 50th percentile and 107 marks out of 720 for reserved category i.e. 40th percentile.

If you want to secure a seat under All India Quota or even the State Quota, you must aim for a score above 540 marks, to be absolutely sure!

There is nothing to called passing marks in NEET Exam. In NEET, it is qualifying marks rather which is 50th percentile for general category and 40th percentile for reserved categories.

Qualifying exams for neet are 50 percentile for general 45 percentile for obc and 40 for SC and ST.

According to neet ug official notification, the minimum criteria for qualifying the neet ug exam is 50 percentile for general category candidates. While it is 40 percentile for reserved category candidates.
If you want to get a mbbs seat in good government medical college/university through all india 15% quota counselling then you should get alteast of 540+ marks in neet ug exam.

For qualifying NEET, the marks required is somewhat nearly 50 percentile. But this will not help you to fetch a rank. For securing a good rank under UR category always target for 550+ marks. This will surely fetch you a good rank and you'll be able to study in a college of your own choice!

For neet the qualifying marks corresponding to 50 percentile was 107 for the genrral catagory.
Please not that there is a huge diffrernce between qualifying marks and cutoff marks.
