Hello dear
It is impossible to tell you that how many marks you can score because it will depend upon various factors like yours understanding ; your concepts ; exam level ; and some common and silly mistakes during exam ; exam surrounding etc.
But as per my experience whatever you will score after studying these two books will be near about 40-60 marks ( vary according to person).
but you should solve some other books also because if you are limited btao 1or 2 books than your concepts will not explore as much. So to make your concepts strong and effective you should solve new question and from different books.

HI ASPIRANT !!!!all the best for your JEE mains ...it is not sufficient if u read only ncert you have to study in every single way you could do study ...all the best ...I guess u will be able score 70-75% of marks .

Ncert and hc Verma both books are specially designed for jee and it's a compulsory that you have to solve questions from these books. 

Past questions can give you a clear idea about the pattern of the questions and you will also get a thorough knowledge of your theory. You can easily be able to clear your cut off. So it's a good choice to go through past year questions.
