You can increase your marks as much as you want , your marks will depend on how you perform in your improvement exam.  There's no limit upto which you can improve your marks,  it's all depends on your performance.

For example, let us consider that you appear for physics improvement exam and scored 60 out of 70 marks in that , and your practical marks was 30 marks . So your new improved dcore in physics will be 90 out of 100 marks.  So , it all depends on your performance in improvement exam irrespective of how much you obtained in your earlier exam.
