Last year, people till rank 1900 were able to get CSE. In the first round of counseling, CSE closed at around 1500. In the subsequent rounds the cutoff rank for CSE rose till 1900.

If you are aiming for CSE, then try to get 145+ as the competition is rising each year. Last year people with marks 140 were able to get CSE, though this year it seems that the cutoff marks would rise till about 142.

Therefore, aim to get 143+ marks or a below 1800 rank in the exam.
