CUSAT , also known as Cochin University of Science and Technology conductus Common entrance test in Computer based mode(CBT). CUSAT CAT is a National level exam which is conducted in 24 citiesfor admisison of CUSAT and institution associated with CUSAT.

In order to get aadmission for CUSAT B.tech in cs , you need to qualify in CUSAT CAT exam. Last date to apply was on february 28,2019. Now , admit cards have been released . you can download admit card until april 6, 2019.

The minimum marks required and cutoffs depend on various parameters like -

• Difficulty level of the exam
• Number of candidates appearing in CUSAT CAT
• previous year's cut off trends
• total number of seats available.

Based on all these factors , minimum marks and cutoff criteria is established every year. If you dont meet the CUSAT CAT cutoff, you will have less chance of getting into the CUSAT.

You can attempt CUSAT CAT more than once, provided you meet the elegiblity criteria of age limit.
Also , there is an eligibility criteria if you want to attempt CUSAT CAT . which is -

• The candidate must pass 10+2 with minimum of 50% aggrgate.
• Candidate appearing for 10+2 at the time of CUSAT CAT are also elligible

This is the standard eligible criteria to apply for CUSATCAT and get admission for any of UG course including B.tech Computer science.
