Hi, English Hons is one of the bachelor of arts courses that is quite popular and high in demand. Thus most of the top universities keep a very high cut off for eg: University of Delhi, the cut off in this University starts from 98% and barely touches 95% for some of the well known colleges. The course in these top colleges is also of high quality and the faculty members are also highly educated and effective in their teaching skills. So if you wish to seek admission in top colleges you would need around 97%. Some of the colleges do keep a low cut off but what the cut off will be for a college largely depends on the number of student applications. Some of the colleges also require you to appear for an entrance exam and then they shortlist candidates based on the performance on the entrance test.
Cut offs for all colleges are different. It would be easier to provide you cut off and eligibility details if you could mention the preferred colleges or states.
Thank you
