The ranks requird by top IITs and NITs is nearby to 1500-3000 for aerospace department, and as per previous trends and approximate marks are in the range of 235-265.

On safer side, a score of 250 is considered best to get all mentioned IITs below.

Aerospace is offered by IIt Kharagpur, Kanpur, Delhi, Bombay and are attracting some great job opportunities with companies like HAL, DRDO, ISRO, Lockheed martin, L&t, Relaince defence, etc with average package of 12LPA.

It depends on many factors.....no one can tell you exact marks...but you can check previous year's cutoff on our website or app.

Look through jee advance, you should have aerospace engineering in 4 iits.
Cut offs 2017- IIT BOMBAY - 2056,IIT KHARAGPUR - 3451,IIT KANPUR - 3053,IIT MADRAS - 2995..
so according to marks vs rank, you must have to score 235 up to get those colleges...
Otherwise, the one of the most best colleges for aerospace engineering is IIST THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, which is through jee mains. So in my opinion you should prepare good for jee mains also...
