Hello,

See there is no percentage for success in a drop year. But the difference between JEE and MHCET is that the amount of competition that JEE has can never be in an exam like MHCET.

Almost every candidate tries to drop an year who is unable to secure a good rank in JEE so they prepare the same syllabus and sometimes the droppers are not able to qualify/secure an expected rank.

So if you are taking a drop for MHCET then you will face less competition, and the level of difficulty of the paper is not that high as JEE is since MHCET will be for admissions in colleges of Maharashtra.

So you can have decent chances of improving your rank.

Work Hard!

All the Best!

Regards!
