The eligibility criteria varies college to college so kindly tell which particular college you are asking for but generally to be eligible to apply for M.Sc in Food 50% in graduation is required with Chemistry/Biochemistry/Botany/Zoology/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Home Science/Agriculture/Food Science and Nutrition/Food Technology or equivalent CGPA is required.

Most of the university's eligibility criteria for msc food science is 50% in graduation for general category and 45% for OBC/SC/ST. Some university conduct entrance test for admission and some take admission on the basis of marks scored by you in graduation.
