Dear candidate, reservation in IIT/NIT is only for SC, ST, OBC, Disabled and General( Economically Weaker Sections (EWS)) students. There is no reservation on the basis of religion. Reservations in seat allotment is also given to candidates of that particular state of IIT/NIT. SC,ST students also get relaxation in fees in IIT/NIT.
