Prabhu, from the Academic year 2020, the IITs will cease to give any stipend to M.Tech students who have joined their Institutions through GATE score. Which means from the Academic year 2020, there will be no more stipend if you are studying M.Tech through GATE. And regarding the M.Tech fees, it might start as low as 30,000 INR to as high as in lakhs. It depends on the Institution that you manage to get a seat in.

I think you are not updated with the new rules and regulation for the upcoming batches i.e for 2020 batches.
Fees has been increased with 500% and the stipend, which was previously 12500 has been stopped by our beloved Nationalist Government.
