Hello,

The percentage is calculated and taken out for all the boards who have a CGPA system. The percentage is calculated as 9.5*CGPA. This percentage is further used in the admission process. The students who got more percentage will be given a seat.

The admission into SASTRA is based on two ways:
Stream 1: JEE main percentage(best of two) + board exam marks (70% seats)

Stream 2: only board exam marks of a particular board(30% seats)

There is no specific cut off to get a seat in SASTRA University. It depends on the student who scores more marks. If you had appeared for JEE Mains then apply under stream 1. If your board exam marks is 90-95% and your JEE main percentage is  good then you can get admission under stream 1.
For stream 2, your board exam marks should be at least above 85-90% only to get a seat and if it is more than 95% you can get a good course in SASTRA. Iftwo persons get same board exam marks then they take JEE Mains percentage into consideration and then give the seat.

Hope this helps you.
