The online mode of examination is known as the Computer Based Test (CBT). In this method of, computer based test, the candidates are allotted with systems where they can attempt the examination and answer the question paper.

The JEE Mains Examination for the 2021 session is conducted in Computer based test which is in online mode where the students have to reach their allotted centres in order to appear for the examination.

The examination is unfolded in four different sessions where each student is allowed to appear for any number of attempts based on his or her individual choice.
