The University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences is a constituent of the Panjab University and it offers B.Pharm,M.Pharm an Ph.D Courses. Although you have not mentioned you're seeking admission in which course.

Let me explain in detail about each one-

B.Pharm- Candidate should have passed 10+2 with

Minimum 50% marks in 10+2 with English, Physics, Chemistry and one of Biology/Biotechnology/ Mathematics.

There's an entrance exam conducted PU-CET for admission in this UG Course.

Candidates applying should have passed B.Pharm or equivalent from AICTE/ PCI approved Institutions/ Universities. For admission to M.Pharm courses, only GPAT qualified candidates are considered.

M. Pharm. Courses Admission is made on the basis of combined merit calculated from aggregate marks obtained in B. Pharm. 4-years Course (30% weight age) and GPAT score (70% weight age).

For Self Finance courses of M.Pharm, candidates not having valid GPAT scorecards will also be considered for admission,only if the seats remain vacant after admitting all GPAT-qualified candidates are admitted. provided they have overall percentage of 60% in B.Pharma, 

PhD Course Admission is done on the basis of GPAT Entrance Score, Eligibility being M.Pharm from a recognized university.
