Education Qualification: Minimum aggregate marks of 45 percentage in 10+2 or intermediate in science stream from a recognised Board.

Admission Criteria: Entrance exam/ merit obtained in qualifying exam

Entrance Exam: BVP EYECET

Age Criteria: Minimum 17 years of age during admission year.

B-Optometry is a 4-year undergraduate course designed to educate students on diagnosis, treatment of eyes, and connecting organs.

The basic requirement to apply for this course is that a candidate must have completed their 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in Science stream (PCMB) are eligible for B Optometry. In most colleges, admission is done on a merit basis. Very few of them conduct entrance to give admission in this course. The fee structure of this course ranges between 1,00,000 to 2,00,000 rupees.

In most of the colleges, admission to this course will be conducted in the month of June/ July. You need to check out the website of the college for which you want to apply to get regular updates about their admission process.
