This year 100% seats are filled based on class 12 marks. Admission to Engineering in Thapar Institute of Technology is based on merit in class 12. And the eligibility criteria is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational Subject with minimum 70% marks for SC/ST categories it is 65% marks. TIET B.Tech admission 2020 will be done on the basis of 10+2 examination merit. JEE mains qualified candidates will be given a higher preference.
