How to become a software engineer if I have opt commerce with ip as subjects??

Yes you can!!

You can easily take advantage of all the things you have studied in commerce and can apply that knowledge in IT field too,you can go deep into the subjects like Database , Data analysis and Big Data etc but you may require some skills of math too. Most of the database specialist i know are actually from the commerce background, although you cannot directly go for engineering courses but these are the courses you can go for

BCA ,B.ScCS,B.ScIT

All of these courses are three year undergraduate degree course generally for students who want to pursue their career in the field of computer languages. These courses are the most popular option to get started with a career in Information Technology.

To study these courses you don't necessarily need to have Physics, Chemistry and maths as a subject in class 12th, even an arts or commerce student can go for these courses

The eligibility criteria for most of the colleges for these courses is pass with50% aggregate marksin 10+2. (Some colleges may ask for maths as a subject in your 10+2)
