Hi Shalini,
First of all, I want to tell you that to become an entrepreneur is not at all a cake walk. Entrepreneurship is a long tough journey. It requires your dedication, commitment towards your goal, your passion. During your ride, you will come across a lot of hurdles, hardship, disappointments but in spite of this you have to be firm, determined and stayed focused towards your goal.
If you are ready for all this, then you need to first conquer your fear. Fear of failure, fear of running out of money, fear of not knowing your audience and more.
If you have made up your mind and ready to embark on your journey then make sure that-
You research well about the market your entering in.
Do introspect things before starting up.
Have a backup plan
Your idea should be really strong and impactful
Be ready for the surprises and shocks, and most important
Don’t just enter the entrepreneurial world just because it is ‘cool’, embark your journey with your vision and passion.
If we look at the journey of PayTM’s Vijay Shekar Sharma, Deep Kalra of MakeMyTrip, Zomato’s Deepinder Goyal to name few we can learn a lot. Seeing their journey, I believe that to become one like them or to join their club, you need to be a
Risk taker
Good decision maker
Celebrate every success and work on your failure
Never get dishearten, stand up again and fight for your goals
You need to set your goals higher and most important
Sense of responsibility should be there
So, according to me to become a successful entrepreneur, first, prepare yourself and follow your heart.
Good Luck!
