Hi Aspirant,

You need to complete MBBS course in otder to become NeuroPsychiatrist.Without the MBBS degree you cannot pursue the psychitrist course. So, there is no possibility for someone to become a neuro-psychiatrist without mbbs degree. After Pursuing that if you specialize in neurology then you are eligible to become neuropsychiatrist.

Hope it helps!!

Hello student,

Actually neuro psychiatrists are those doctors who deals with physically mentally disabled or patient with Behavioural symptoms, which can be caused from brain damage, injuries, neutral system dysfunction etc.

To become a neuropsychiatrist , at first you have to give Neet examination to be eligible for good medical colleges to study your basic MBBS degree of 4 years. Then you can pursue your MD degree aur can have diploma in Psychiatric medicine (DPM). You also can do extra 1 year fellowship of neuropsychiatric.

Hope this will help you.
