How to become software engineer.. explain me the difference between software engineer and computer engineering

You would be required to have Science stream with PCM score in Class 12th alongwith valid score for competitive exams like MHTECT, JEE MAIN, AIEEE. the major difference is the advantage the computer engineering students hold over software engineering, i.e. Understanding the interaction between hardware and software will be included in curricula; however, specific training on hardware development generally will not. For software engineering, students In general, in this field will not receive training on hardware development; however, they will gain knowledge on the interplay between hardware and software. the curriculum more or less remains same and so does the job opportunity.

So what according to you should be the stream to be chosen by a student, say who is good at coding and logical analysis and has done a great deal of programming in his school days.
