The calculation of JEE mains percentile follows a normalization process . Basically, your raw score is calculated which is then compared with others and then a comparative figure is calculated which is determined by: 100* (no.of students who scored more than or equal to you/ total no. of students)

The formulae to calculate JEE Mains percentile:-
100 x Number of candidate appeared in the "session" with raw score Equal to or less than the candidate/ Total number of students who appeared in the "session".
