JEE Main Most Scoring Concept: January 2025 Session | April 2025 Session
Percentile depends upon the topper's score on the shift of the exam. It changes with each shift. The topper's score is considered to be 100 percentile.
Suppose the topper from your shift scores 350/360. This score is considered 100 percentile.
Actually percentile means how many students you have overtaken to grab the present position.
Hope this helps. Best of luck.
Hello Aspirant,
Firstly you should keep in mind there is no such method which will give you the exact A.I.R, having only percentile score as data. But for you I explain it.
For example- take percentile as 99.735
Step 1 deduct your percentile from 100. In above example it comes to 100–99.735 = 0.265
Step 2 multiply above with no of attempted stundents 874469 & then divide by 100
(874469x0.265)/100 comes to 2317 your rank.
