Maybe you don't know that from 2020 clat has been changed, pattern of clath as been changed and the number of questions reduced from 200 to 120 250. The duration of the exam is same according to the previous year that is 3 years.

Coming to the preparation part the exam has shifted from memory based reasoning base and inference base that is now you have to understand and comprehend all the reading passages and answer the question on the base of inference drawn from the passage.

Puzzles and question involving the logical thinking are introduced in the exam to reduce the memorizing part and increase the inference and logical part.

You you have to now studying many passages from newspapers and also the GK part has changed from GK to current affairs newspapers will help you in both preparing for reading and GK part. Hello,

CLAT is conducted for two courses 5 year LLB course after 12th and post graduate LLM course.

If you aspire to qualify clat for 5 year course you have to start with covering basics from arithmetic and logical reasoning. You can refer R S agarwal book for starting. Simultaneously you can start reading news papers or any current affairs magazine for preparing that section.

Once you are comfortable with basics you can solve previous year papers and model test papers on a time bound manner.

You can refer below mentioned link for further details.
