Dear Nirav, For 7 point Grading system, the percentage shall be calculated on the basis of percentage of actual marks obtained by the Candidates. Lets say you have scored 5 on a 7 point scale. Then it is:

5*10/7, 10 which is 7.1 on a 10 point scale. Now for converting this into percentage,

7.1*9.5= 67.45%

Hey ,
Even I have 7 point grading system, and I m applying for my MS in USA & Canada, so in my resume what shall I put? 7 point grading or converted 10 point grading?? Please let me know .

Samiksha Singh You can leave it as 7 point grading system but mention the same in the CV.

The Mumbai University document dated June 2017 states conversion shall be based on percentage of actual marks. Wouldn't that mean adding up the scores of all subjects and then dividing by the total possible score?
Is the method suggested by ma'am valid and backed by relevant document?
