It's very important part of your side also.
You have to devote some time also always boost u your son.
Always be with him.and support him.and motivate.
He get many depressing situation in the coaching period or in 11 and 12 but you have to take stand always praise him that you can do anything.
You can prefer ncert first and and some good books for numerical like Mishra ; Arihant; a adas gupta cengage.etc.
Guide him to study concepts firstly.
And you can watch on you tube if you find any difficulty.
Good luck

Dear Sir,

This year JEE Main is being conducted by NTA(National Testing Agency) two times- January and April in Online Modes only . This is a high time to continue the flow with the subjects if they are ongoing. As per my suggestion and experience during this time focus should be mainly led on the attending some mock online test series . During attending of each and every mock series students will be able to realize their potential . Even if the syllabus is not yet completed, attending to the mock test series creates a virtual Environment in which a Candidates Question Solving Problems is enhanced especially how to tackle new problems. NCERT is the look ahead for Chemistry and for Physics D.C Pandey can be referred. Since there is a January JEE Main Exam, so I think everyone should try to attend it so that they can explore more about the level of questons they(NTA) will be asking this year. Though it is expected that level of the questions will be same with the past year papers. So a look ahead schedule of the past year papers can be generated. In this time,I would highly  recommend to attend Online Mock Test Series.. Hope I served you well

Hello,

I am glad to see such concern that you posses for you child.I really appreciate that.
Now, coming to question i would say first if all never ever pressurise him.Let him do the activities that he likes to do in free times whether watching tv,playing or any other activity.
Always try to motivate him and talk to him gently and never push him for study. Make him understand the importance and ultimately he will start focusing by himself.Guide him like a Guru, not like a typical teacher who just does his job.A guru show directions and that's what you need to do.

Goodluck
