You should write your practicals daily at least two or three each day as you have less time now .

The practical files do not need any sort of decoration . You only have to underline the headings like aim , material required , theory and others.

The files should be neat and clean and written in good handwriting .

And lastly , everything should be correct.

Be good with diagrams and circuits.Visualize and draw rough diagrams for the experiments to prepare.

In order to answer your first question, I am providing you some points which you can use for an efficient and effective preparation for your practical examination :

1. Understand the principal working and concept behind every experiment instead of just cramming the whole thing.
2. Understand the procedure and learn it thoroughly.
3. Once you understand the procedure, you don't have to cram the readings. It's better clear the basics than cramming. In case you make mistakes don't panic. Sometimes the readings may vary because of your apparatus.
4. Be good we diagrams. They are always a feather in the cap. It gives the examiner an impression of how well you know the experiment.
5. And most importantly, BE CONFIDENT.

For your second question, I am providing the procedure of writing a practical notebook. Mostly every practical notebook has two sides : The RULED One and the BLANK One.

THE RULED SIDE:(Use PEN on this side)

The writing procedure is:

• Aim
• Apparatus Used / Materials Required
• Procedure

THE BLANK SIDE:(Use PENCIL on this side)

The writing procedure is :

• Diagrams(if any)
• Observation
• Results

Another piece of advice, please keep your practical notebooks neat and up to date. Be very careful of your writing it definitely affects the examiner.
