Hello Aspirant,

Safe Exam Browser ( SEB ) is required to configure your device for the remote proctored exam. To download please follow the steps below:

1. Go to the online admission portal of SRM here: admissions.srmist.edu.in.
2. Log in by using your username ID and password.
3. Under the important links column, there will be instructions to download mock tests for laptops/mobile. Click on the instructions as per the device preference.
4. Carefully read the instructions for installing SEB.
5. Click the Download hyperlink to install the “Safe Exam Browser for Windows” that is available in the instruction manual itself.
6. Save the file to the C drive.
7. Install the executable file by right click-> run as administrator

Please be mindful of the system specifications required:

• Processor- Pentium 4\Dual Core
• RAM Size- 1 GB or higher
• OS- Windows 10 or above and
• A stable internet connection Mbps mbps)

Based on the operating system (Windows/MacOs/iOS) download the file by checking the requirements. After the download is completed you need to open the downloaded file and run as administrator the downloaded file to set up the software in your device.
