Once you are an MBBS graduate i.e have completed your degree from any MCI recognized medical college you are eligible to apply for the post of a physician in the army.
You have to keep yourself quite aware about the vacancies published by the Government of India in the Army Medical Corps. You can keep a constant check on the website of Army Medical Corps in order to have a knowledge ajout the vacancies. The vacancies are subject to availability of the post. The candidate are called for interview and then selected on the basis of marks. A physical fitness may follow this. The time duration of the job varies. It can range from 6 months to two years. You also get additional benefits for serving the army.

If you have done your MBBS from any recognized medical college you can become a doctor in army for that you should keep alert of the vacancy notifications published on the websites of Army.The Army Medical Corps comes under the Government of India, it offers short service commission for MBBS graduates who have passed the course and have completed internship as an officer.The candidates who are eligible will be called for an interview by the board officers at the Army Hospital, Delhi,and on successfully clearing the interview you will be granted short service commission in the Armed Forces Medical Services. The final selection is based on the medical fitness examination.
