Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will release the Detailed Application Form (DAF) for UPSC Civil Services 2018 mains exam form July 23. Candidates will be able to fill the DAF till August 6, 2018. Candidates qualifying prelims can fill the Detailed Application Form. Candidates must make sure that the DAF has been filled properly as candidature of applicants submitting incorrect information or incomplete application form will be rejected. Candidates must also submit requisite documents along with DAF. Candidates must indicate the services for which they are interested in order of preference. After preferences have been submitted, candidates will not be permitted to make further changes regarding the same.

Candidates filling the application form of UPSC Civil Services Mains will need to register first for the examination. Further, for the registration of UPSC, candidates will have to provide their roll number of CSE Prelims, name, date of birth, mobile number and e-mail id.
