the 1st round of counselling for neet is free exit round for everyone. even if you get a college seat alloted to you in first round , you have the choice to not get admitted without forfeiting the money. but once you get admitted and acquire the seat , you cant resign. but in the next rounds if you give up the seat alloted to you, your forfeit the money. 

if a seat has been alotted to you in 1st round and you want to exit, you can do so by not reporting to the assigned college for admission. there will be no particular option to select for doing this. when you dont report it will mean exit itself.  

Dear Ankita, 

There is no free exit option available in neet AIW counselling. If you are not allotted a college you have to apply for round 2.If you got a college and you leave it,then you would not be allowed to participate in further rounds.

So there is no free exit option available according to mcc counselling brochure.
